Sudden death overtime minute of fame (Status: lookie, I'm on the T and V)

Here is a link to a report on my thrift store Picasso that ran on the local NBC affiliate.  Must be a slow news day here in Columbus.  The reporter keeps mispronouncing my last name (it's pronounced beau-dish not Baa-dish).  Yes, they had me reenact discovering the print.

  2. Cool! First a print star and now a TV star. We may have to buy you a pair of Foster Grants and a big floppy hat so you can go around incognito.

Seriously, I'm so excited for you. I was telling my SIL all about your find today.

    1. How many times have you heard similar stories and thought "Man, I wish it was me"; it's kinda nut when it actually happens.

  4. You've been the toast of the vintage community this week, remember who your readers were before the fame. ;) Now I know your real name and what you look like! hehe.

    1. Fame is fleeting, true friendship lasts forever. I've been lucky this time but soon someone else will hit the jackpot and I will be a foot note to their story (like the person who found the original copy of the Declaration of Independance in a Nashville thrift store for $2,50 a few years back).
I swear I look much more dashing in person or on your arm at the Thrifters Ball. Hey,the Thrifters Ball should be a "thing"!
