Lamps and lamp shades seem to be a hot topic on the ol' mid mod blogs so here I am contributing these fab, huge, wood slatted shades I found at Goodwill a few months ago, to the discussions.
I have yet to find a pair of lamps worthy of these fantastic shades, partly because they are awfully large (18 and 1/2" tall by 17" across) and also because I don't have many pairs of lamps. Here's a close up of the slats; look how they are sewn in.
very nice...I have the same problem as I have a really nice set of green fiberglass shades and not a pair of lamps to go with. I'd still rather have them than an unshaded pair of lamps :-)
