Spring Flea 2013 (Status: second weekend of selling)

Spring Flea is the sort-a hipster flea market (lots of hand made and vintage, no diabetic socks or Nascar) that takes place just a couple of blocks from my house.  It's lots of fun and pretty cool!
Yeah, that's me in the vintage Hawaiian shirt and hat.  Here is a tour of my booth, starting in the center and moving clockwise.
A freshly refinished Lane Acclaim table with a 45 rpm box, stacking tin snack set and clock.
A green Baumritter Danish style lounge chair, a Stanley end table , Laurel Lamps Genie lamp, white flip clock and floral vinyl chair
A red and a blue Fiesta pitcher, nice chrome kitchen center, selection of atomic dishes, some bags.
One of those ceramic wiener dog things that holds men's accessories, metal Johnson & Johnson first aid box, yellow plastic stacking kitchen counter set (flour, sugar, coffee, tea), a great blue/green drip lamp, art deco wall clock, more atomic dishes and two vintage cake carriers.
A newly refinished Huntley desk that I paired with a nice ladder back Broyhill chair, a couple more lamps, two bowling bags and the repro Nelson wall clocks
A Bassett buffet I just picked up in my hometown, a couple more drip glaze lamps, flip clocks and some more atomic dishes.
The orange chair was made for Montgomery Ward and had some wear, the brown Baughman style wingback actually has copper highlights and some unfortunate white paint on one side.  The pebble art lady was picked up just the day before the flea.

  1. Looks like you took a lot of good stuff to the Spring Flea. I hope you sold a ton!

    1. Bowling bags were a hit. I did not sell the buffet or the Baumritter chair.

  2. By the looks of it, you must have done well. Great inventory! I wish I could sell furniture, but I find it so difficult!

    1. Furniture seems to sell pretty well at the flea; I only had two pieces left. I am always surprised when the small items (flip clocks, lamps and atomic dishes) don't sell.

  3. Some really nice pieces! Hope you didn't have much of anything to haul home...

    1. Although I sold the desk and the two upholstered pieces, I still had to haul them home... to be delivered a couple of days latter to their new homes (yeah for having a van!)
