Found this pair of 60s or 70s Eames designed, Herman Miller DCM chairs in my hometown. They aren't perfect but the price was right.
These two chairs were from a local hospital that, I guess, decided to get some new furniture.
They are both marked with paper labels
and a molded "Designed by Charles Eames. Herman Miller, Zeeland Michigan" logo.
They both have some defects. When I found them, some of the black trim band had come loose; I think they were so old that the glue had dried out and the trim band had also dried out and shrunk. I took a swing at reattaching the trim but they were so stiff that they would not quite touch.
I'm going to try taking another swing at the green chair, as you see I didn't quite get it right.
Each chair also has a broken foot
I think I'll try to pick up a couple of feet off ebay.
